About

Good shops shouldn't run on one person's memory.

Service Loop Ops is based in Wilmington, North Carolina. We run the back office for trade shops. That's all we do.

Jordan McNeely

Mechanical engineer

Background in power generation, including licensed nuclear operations. The job was running procedures that couldn't fail quietly, and writing them down so the next shift could pick them up cold.

Jordan also runs a short-term rental business on the North Carolina coast and a real estate investment company, and closes the books on both. Most of what Service Loop Ops runs for clients was run first on his own operations.

Steve Palumbo

Electrical engineer

Background in instrumentation and control systems for nuclear power plants, from simple control logic to complex systems, including hands-on PLC programming. He can read the code behind a system and tell you exactly how it behaves.

That's how he spots the inefficiencies other people miss. Today he puts it to work on service companies, cutting the manual processes and admin overhead that eat time and margin.

You talk to the people who run it. There's no offshore team and no account manager.

Why we work this way

One shop at a time, and we finish the install before we start the next.

It means we grow slower. We'll take that over a botched install, because we plan to still be running these offices in three years.

It also means we say no more than we say yes. If your office already runs well, or what you actually need is marketing, we'll tell you on the first call instead of selling you something you don't need.

We hold client logins, so ask how we handle them. We work inside your accounts, never your bank, and everything we set up is documented in your records. You'll never need us to understand your own office.

Talk to the people who'd run it.

Twenty minutes. No account manager, no deck.
